Had a beagle growing up, and we were inseparable. Such a great dog! A year ago I lost my basset hound to cancer. Went to a great local rescue and ended up adopting 2 young beagles...1.5 yrs old each. They have been nothing short of loving, grateful and sweet. They are super spoiled, but deserve to be.. I will continue to support humane societies and adopt from them in future. And yes, my beagles exhibit all those behaviors with me.

When I was a kid, my Grandfather raised beagles. So did my Dad. I'm 57 now. Beagles still mean "Home" to me.

I unfortunately haven't gotten one to call my own, but my Aunt had three that I loved as my own. They are sadly now all chasing bunnies in heaven, and I miss them incredibly and just teared up thinking about them and how much I miss them.

My beagle does all of these but loves hugging close. She lays on top of the blanket between my knees, her favorite spot to rest, I swear it's her way of keeping me in one place after all, if the baby is comfy I often will not disturb her and she lays there for a very long time. Love love love my baby and this channel 🥰❤️🐾🐕🐾🐕

Years ago, I had a neighbor who had a Beagle named Maggie. Whenever I would say 'Hey Maggie' to her from across the street, she would start crying and howling until I went over and petted her. She would be fine after that. Whenever she would get loose, she would come to my house. If they came to get her, they had to bring a leash, but if I walked over to their house, she would stay right at my heels until we got there. I miss her. She was so sweet.
