"Aren't you a little young for full contact?" "Aren't you a little old for video games?" "You wanna go again, eh?" "Yeah."
  • One of the best martial arts flicks ever made. Happy 35th Bloodsport!

It’s been more than 30 years since my father showed me and my brother this masterpiece. We would cheer for VanDamme against Chong Li and scream at every cool movement, and there were plenty of them. We would watch it every weekend, on Saturday afternoons of endless fun. These days helped us bond more than any other activity we would do together. We joined Karate classes and my brother showed incredible talent, even performing Van Damme’s leg split. This song literally brings tears to my eyes, because it reminds me of our childhood and the men we became. With all my heart I would like to thank all of the directors, producers, actors and musicians involved in the making of this film. You inspired us to be fighters. To fight to survive.

This song is as awesome as the Bloodsport film. These were the real good days, no days like these days anymore. 2024 coming it'll still rock and bumping!
  • 2016 was one of my darkest years. I suffered a terrible depression and anxiety and low academic performance on high school. And diagnosed with attention deficit disorder. Bloodsport and this song saved my life inspiring me to practice judo and overcome my depression.

This should be everyone's fight song whether you are a recovering alcoholic or something else this 80s magic will give you strength when needed!!
  • This song caused me to move to Thailand in 1991 to start my 3-year career as an amateur Muay Thai fighter. Now I understand why Muay Thai is not just the art of the 8 limbs. But also The art Of Pain. Muay Thai is pain
  • You know when you hear that motivational 80s magic...only 80s kids get it...luckily i was one of them...best decade ever
  • I´m only 24 years old but I love Bloodsport and this music, I watch it often with my older brother (nearly 40 years old) who show me all these classics , I am very thankful for that.

  • I was a kid in the 80s and loved this movie. Now in my 40s, I have a Playlist of songs like this from back then to get me through some my workouts. I have Lupus, and some days it's hard to keep up with my workout schedule. But this kind of stuff helps me push myself.
