Crazy to see how the older generations and the newer generations both love this song

I'm 60 years old, and had never heard this song, or much of anything from the 90s because I was too busy with work, family, and life to bother with what kids were listening to. Then I heard part of this on some video a couple days ago, and it gave me goosebumps. Being a teenage dirtbag or dreaming about a girl in your high school isn't something you guys came up with. In other words, this song is timeless, and I love it!

Glad the new teenage dirt bags are enjoying this song in 2024. I love that for yall.

There's some charm to the late 90s/early 2000s rock. It feels like an opening to some teenage TV show where the main character lives in some upper middle class suburb.
-
I was 15 when this song came out, it was always on the radio. I feel it perfectly captures the fun and innocence of the early 2000s. Such a nostalgic hit.
-
I'm telling you this song makes you feel like you can ask the person you like out or beat someone up. Or is it just me? π
-

-
Played this minutes before my 20th birthday. One last time as a teenager.
