Leather jacket, dark shades, a lot of shooting and bike chases. What an introduction to the 2000s
-
A lot of people talk shit about MI2 and they all owe John Woo an apology because this movie still holds after two decades
-
THE BEST MISSION EVER. John Woo's original cut was three-and-a-half hours long, and rated R. Paramount balked at the length, and told him the final cut could not exceed two hours. That accounts for the numerous plot holes and missing lines and scenes from at least one of the theatrical trailers in the released version. I hope the original cut still exists. All of that said, Mission: Impossible II is a fantastic action thriller from the director of Hard Target, and Broken Arrow, and Face/Off, with a strong script written by Academy Award winner Robert Towne, and a frenetic score written by Academy Award winner Hans Zimmer.

The early 2000s was so sick 👍

Mission Impossible. What a fun, thrilling, guilt free franchise. Another Tom Cruise classic.

0:43 That run is going to be epic forever

One of the few movies that does slow motion scenes just right.
-
Tom Cruise showing how to sell Sun Glasses, Guns and Motorcycles at the same time, I love it
-
John woo was such a talented director 👏🏽
-
The theme song hits at just the right moment
-
John woo is an absolute master 😍
-
This is the best, most high-octane chase scene ever recorder. God bless John Woo and Tom Cruise.
-
its crazy rewatching this in hindsight when u realize how iconic it was at the time and how it actually affected culture a lot and has been emulated to death
-
One thing you can’t argue with is that John Woo knows action. He invented the slide and shoot. And the dive and shoot.

No matter what over the top stunts Tom Cruise does in the next installment, this is the best MI movie
