It ended at around 4.40am when Prime Minister Rishi Sunak conceded defeat to Sir Keir Starmer.

In between, a slew of Conservative heavyweights such as Liz Truss and Sir Jacob Rees-Mogg found themselves out of a job as the political map of the UK changed from blue to red.

The old British little trick by turning Sunak into the scapegoat but he is sorted for life being a billionaire and soon sailing to the US happy away from this mess ....The voters actually made him a huge favour and took him out of his suffering .
  • And a big thanks to Boris, Truss and all their supporters who helped take the Tories down. Well done.👏👏

He ain't at all worried he's walked off with billions🤣

Sunak has simply washed his hands of this country, he will scuttle off with his pockets filled with the money he has made, sat on a beach with a cocktail in hand laughing with his wife about how he screwed us all and at the horrid mess the now Labour party have to deal with. On a positive note the atmosphere in my local Morrisons is filled with relief that the Tories are finally out, the energy has shifted and people are feeling somewhat positive for the future, they are not delusional as they know it going to be an uphill struggle to get this country back on it's feet.
  • Why is everyone surprised? Today's result was in the cards for months and was predicted pretty accurately.

Keir Starmer is as big a melt as Sunak. Things will not get better.

what a nightmare it has been this last 14 years, I found myself watching 90s and 2000 movies just to remeber how good it used to be, if this labour party can get us back just 50% of the way it used to be back then then I would consider it a success

I'm not getting too excited. I remember being excited in 1997.

The 2029 GE will be the really important one. Issues that have been festering will get worse under Starmer and will no longer be able to be avoided/ignored. I predict a lot of serious civil unrest between now and then.

Letting the tories get away like that is criminal. Investigate them!

Need PR more than ever. Stuck with the uniparty forever if not.
