🥒 ABOUT BEFRS:
Hey, I’m Sonny! I’m from the US but I’ve been living in Asia for 10 years and started making food and travel videos to document my experiences. I travel to different parts of the world, hunting down and documenting the most unique food each country has to offer.

If you see any factual food errors in my videos, please feel free to politely let me know in the comments. I'm a huge fan of trying different, interesting foods in each country. My show is from a Western point of view, but more importantly, MY point of view. It is not meant to offend any person or culture.

  • The leaf plate/bowl is something the entire world should consider adopting. Pure considerate genius. Much respect to the culture.
  • This is not a food review channel. This is a cultural documentary that makes me appreciate our planet and I will support this channel till I'm an old woman 🥰 🥰 🥰
  • This man is a gem. I really like how he respects the culture. Hope you are well now.
  • @dennythomas4120
You are the most open human being when it comes to experiencing a different culture. I am an Indian and there are some things that even I wouldn't do, but you my friend lead the way for the rest of us.
  • @thefearless1305
I am from Switzerland. Came to India and was lost in the translation. The culture is immersed and so vibrant in there. Got a chance to visit Somnath and Varanasi, took a deep dive into Ganges. Such a purifying journey. Loved India to the core and its ancient, deep rooted culture , colours and kind people.
  • @bryllemutia404
The puns, sarcasm, and humor. That's why I watch this show, the food's just added bonus. And that plot twist for the ending!
  • Let’s take a moment to appreciate Sonny and his hard work, especially during times like these .... Bravo Sir 🙏🏽
  • Absolutely LOVED this! My dream is to go to India since I was a child, here I am at age 40 still haven’t gone haha hopefully 🙏 I will be able to travel there and experience what others have. Thank you so much for sharing this amazing journey. I also almost cried when you slipped! I hope you are ok and are feeling better xx much love and safe travels!
  • @Akshayable
that was an unexpected ending, hope you get well soon
  • @benprince3570
The way the Indian kids tried to stop you from falling was so wholesome. Amazing people with good hearts!
  • So many foods to choose from. I would like to try them all! I have never been to India. Thanks for bringing that part of the world LIVE.
  • @ishitapaul7441
I love how respectful Sonny is to every country, every culture he comes across.
  • @Patterrz
I swear they have a law against serving bland food in India, everything looks so delicious
  • @thinkpadx60
i used to go to Varanasi during the summers back in the early 80's. Those days we took the rickshaws all across town. This video brought back so many memories. Its been almost 40 years since I was last there. The Ghats used to be magical early in the morning, Thank you for this. Hope your leg has recovered.
  • This is absolutely your best video! Love the way you respect our country and show it to the world, most of whom are curious but scared to do the normal things we do like eating street food, walking on the roads full of traffic, or taking a dip in the Ganga. Thank you for doing that with ease, eating our food the way it is supposed to be eaten, not with spoons and forks! Thank you for pointing out unique things that you see and for the sheer authenticity and simplicity you exude! Love it!
  • While in India,i would love to see you visit the Northeastern part of India. The food is totally different.
  • @nevtelen72
The ending just warmed my heart. I'm always amazed at how accepting Sony is but the way he entered the water, played with the kids and those smiles were incredible and very emotional for me! Keep up the good work! And thank you for bringing the people closer to each other! ❤️
  • This was a rather pleasant video to watch. Aside from your injury, the ending was just great! To go against the grain and take your time to show what the world is missing. To watch you eat, engage and enjoy your way around the world is a joy to see. As an avid watcher of your content I can't wait to see more! 😁♥️
