  • Both Kita and Bocchi jumped in this Op at least once. That means this anime is top-tier, just like Ryo said.

K-ON! got me into playing guitar 13 years ago. I hope this anime will make some kids pick up an instrument as well.

A wise girl once said any op where the mc jumps is godly

0:35 now im not surprised she went cyber psycho in episode 4 when she is literally using sandevistan in opening
  • Just wanna point out how when Bocchi's hands are shown playing from 1:09 - 1:13 , her fingering is pretty much 1:1 identical to how that part of the song is played irl . I know they rotoscoped real musicians playing the songs as their basis for the animations but, holy hell man. That's crazy impressive accuracy and really just shows how much love was put into this show.

What's cool is that the various guitar solos play on your right earphones if you're on stereo/surround, which is where Gotou is standing in their band performances
  • @Theasaurus
Love that they actually animated the playing to match the music
  • Interestingly, the four main characters of this show, their last names are derived from the same last names of the band members from ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION. Even more that the characters from the show and AKFG play the same instruments of those with the same last name.
  • An incredible opening of Kessoku Band, Bocchi's cousin has a great musical section, it reminds me a lot of K-On!

It's K-on! But with a very relatable introverted MC. Perfect anime to watch
  • I’m nearly 25 years old but this show re-invigorated not only my love for anime but also playing guitar. I had stopped watching anime for a while, and I hadn’t been playing my guitar nearly as much as I used to because I felt I hit a wall with my playing. I started watching this on a whim after seeing a clip of Bocchi’s solo at Starry. This show is so inspiring. It’s reignited my love of playing music. Remembering what it was like to be hungry for something. I’ve started practicing guitar again. It’s made me want to find a band to join (no luck yet). Bocchi’s social anxiety is something I totally relate with. I’ve never had a piece of media light a fire in me as much as this show did. This show has such a special place in my heart.

The very beginning with the black background and the pull in of the swingset with the guitar is some of the most satisfying animation I’ve ever seen. Can’t explain it.
  • I'm already missing Bocchi :'(
