The FPS in these videos mimic the authentic experience when the game was released. I played it at around 10-15 FPS, always moving the view distance back and forth; I could either have smoother gameplay, or see where I was going. Anyway I loved it :D

Levitate is a must have spell for Vivec...you vids make me want to get back into MW after so many hours in Skyrim.

Heh, nerd time. The language on those banners, and in fact, on all banners in the game, is Daedric, which is basically just a cipher for the English alphabet. Anyway! It's great to see you back in Morrowind. I've missed these.^^

I'm glad to see you back in Morrowind!

I don't think I would be able to stand those load times. Probably I'd rage every time it started to load.

I've basically done absolutely everything on Oblivion and I ran across your "Lets play Morrowind" series here on Youtube(obv). Admittedly, it intrigued me to puchase the game and play it myself. From your video's I expected some loading issues but to my surprise, the loading is fairly minimal on my machine. When I'm walking across a plan it might stutter for a split second when it needs to load. When I go through a door it's a little longer but still relatively short. I'd hate your load times.

you can actually read where u are at these triangular thingies at the wall i.e. at 8:42 you're facing one..just go near enough and you can read it as a sign, so the name will be written on your screen..don't have to wait for the loading part :D

I can't believe you managed to go straight to St. Olms on your first try, that's amazing. Are you sure you haven't seen a map of the city or something before?

Morrowind is really demanding on RAM. I remember when I had 256 MB RAM and I just installed Morrowind on Win XP, before playing it a little in Win 98, where it was playable. In XP it was running pretty slowly (a little slower than you are in this part), but still playable. When I took the siltstrider to Balmora, I jawbreaked when my computer stand for a FULL FIVE MINUTES, which seemed like an hour, to load. After that I had to cease playing Morro several months until I upgraded my computer.

It actually ran okay on pc's when it was released.. not great, but better than it seem to run in this session :)
  • does anyone else just drop off the side of the building to the lower level? I've always done that and not suffered any damage (even with an acrobatics skill of 5) I think it's a bug
  • @Ragitsu
gixG17 actually looks like SURPRISINGLY similar to a cousin of mine.
  • @brandonbldn1117
well all the elder scrolls games are a little buggy sadly but a earned reputation for bethasda
  • @JJBerthume
@gixG17 Get a guide to Vivec, very useful.
  • @KiwiBlaster516
You should set your map to on at all times, and set it into world view. That's the easiest way to navigate through Vivec.
