EDIT: Tapu Koko is now available in its shiny form via event!

Hey guys it's John here from 4Gamers, with a quick video showing you all of the shinies that are unobtainable in Pokemon Sun and Moon! These Pokemon are, "shiny locked" and therefore are unavailable in their shiny forms without the use of a cheating device/method. I hope you enjoy the video! :)

EDIT: I now realize that Necrozma is not an ultra beast (thanks megatron93916). Sorry for the slip up :) Also Zygarde is shiny locked, but because he is from generation 6, he wasn't included in this video.

Hey everyone, I realized after the video was created and uploaded that Necrozma is NOT an Ultra Beast. No need to let me know, as I am aware of my error, thanks! :D Also Zygarde is shiny locked, but because he is from generation 6, he wasn't included in this video.

Necrozma isn't an ultra beast, it doesn't have beast boost and the Sun Pokedex entry on it states "It is reminiscent of Ultra Beasts"

So you said that the UBs were shiny locked because of cutscenes, but really. There are multiple UBs, you even catch multiples in game. They shouldn't be shiny locked.

Shiny locks is retarded as hell. Idk why they thought it was a good idea when introducing it in 5th Gen when most will never be released as an event.

You actually probably can get these shinies in an event. They did this with the Gen 6 main Ledgendaries.

Are they giving these out with events? Can't be used online anyway if you hack for them.
