Just to echo what a lot of people have already said, I really don't think you need to spend all 7k tiles to unlock the gauntlet. I say you just unlock those full 5 rooms. That honestly sounds fair to me. The tile requirement for everything else is already brutal enough as it is.

Personally I feel like it's fair to use the randomly generated rooms and only pay for 5 entire rooms but it's your series my guy. Love the episode, looking forward to more c:

To be honest I think it's in the nature of the series to use game mechanics and that the rooms are build in such a way in the dungeon is completely acceptable and I think unlocking just 5 should be enough.

Realistically, someone who has done the dungeon hundreds of times probably have not stepped on every single tile. So, paying for every tile seems extreme.

Don’t break yourself making guanlet cost so much. Just do the first option. Still got a huge amount of tiles and content to get through

I don't think you need to spend 7k tiles for that dungeon, you should poll it and see what people think. I think most people would agree that unlocking the 5 rooms is sufficient

I think that its perfectly fair not to spend 7000 tiles for one dungeon, seems very unnecessary

I agree with everyone else saying you shouldn't have to spend that many tiles to unlock the whole thing. If it wants to work that way then let it be, save the tiles and use them for something else. But it's also your series, so you have final say.

@13:28 the mining guild rocks are 67% faster regenerating compared to the normal rocks, but the normal rocks are in fact 300% slower compared to the mining guild ones. For example: Lets say a rock takes 60s to respawn 67% = 2/3 3/3 - 2/3 = 1/3 1/3 * 60s = 20s (67% faster) Original time / new time = multiplier 60s / 20s = 3x = 300%

Honestly I'd say you should get a discount of 20% or more on the upfront cost, because in no rational timeline would you step on EVERY tile in there. Alternatively you can get some tiles back afterward calculated from footage after you complete it.

This series is awesome! 7000 tiles seems too steep, maybe 4-5k tiles seems like a fair compromise? I also don’t think anyone will be complaining if you just unlock the 5 rooms and get more videos out faster

I like the idea that unlocking a room unlocks it across the dungeon. Feels unique and interesting.

This is the first episode I had to wait for to be uploaded. I binge watched the whole series before this one. Now I feel like I’m truly immersed and I’m unlocking the Tileman series one episode at a time.

I don't think unlocking the gauntlet with the way the game is coded is unfair at all. It's a quirk of the system, not a defect
