I love how the medics in New Orleans call the patients “baby.” It just sounds so caring and comforting.
  • I love Holly. Her disposition, bedside manner, the way she cares for people is just heartwarming.
  • I love that they're calling the patients "baby" anddd "darling" - these are such terms of endearment and also, compassion. You might hear something similar in my home town AFTER they get your Insurance information.🤷

God bless that Marine, I pray he's gotten his new lungs and all is well- thank you for your service!! 🤗💖🌹

I pray that the man who needed a lung transplant got it. He seems like such a pure soul. Even in an ambulance he's cracking jokes. What a great soul

I have so much respect for the Mom at 6:47, staying calm for her little girl, even though she was certainly freakin out inside. So many times you see the family losing it, even more than the person in trouble. That's love. Screaming and crying is selfish.

The way these people speak to their patients makes me emotional. They're so sweet and caring.

Feeling like you can't breath is the scariest experience ever. I had an asthma attack and I was struggling to breath, I was so afraid I was going to die. Inhalers are incredible
  • Bless their heart on the last video... they didn't ignore the guy that was on a lot of drugs.... they still cared for him while taking care of the original patient

My father passed away from congestive heart failure, he had 3 open heart surgeries and replacement of his valves and he suffers then died in his sleep. I will never forget the way the paramedics treated him as if he were their loved one. We take breathing normally for granted, bless all those who have to deal with the constant fear of not enough oxygen
  • I wish we could get updates on the patients, I love the emts and how sweet and precious they are! I hope the patients are doing okay

This poor man she said it’s like drowning with no water. So you feel like you’re drowning and no one is helping you. This is horrible to me.
  • @TaymaShine
That blond emt at 6:17 is always always so compassionate and knows exactly how to make people feel better. I’ve seen her on a few calls and the way she speaks to patients is perfect.

Poor man at the start, the panicking didn’t help with his heart but he couldn’t help panicking. Glad they looked after him.

Two days ago I was in a similar situation and it is terrifying. I have COPD and had gotten Bronchitis on top of it and couldn't utter a word and it is like drowning w/o water!!! My thanks to the EMT's and the ER personnel at the Hospital. They are truly angels and in no way are paid enough for what they do!!!! I feel better now,but it is truly frightening feeling like you are dying!!!! God bless All first responders!!!!

I'm an EMT student, and since I've been watching these its really helped to put some of the stuff I have learned into prospective and and how to better handle and identify stuff like this!

the medics saying caring things with "baby" or "darling".... it's so comforting oml
  • Second crew was amazing at talking to her. Her mom made me tear up 🥲

19:51 the look the man gives sent shivers down my spine... If someone gives you that look, you immediately know they need help, you know they are in great danger without them having to say a single word. That is a look of true horror that cannot be faked and a look you will only ever see when someone is truly very sick and about to either die or come very close and would have died without immediate medical attention... I have given that look before and the fear in that guys eyes hits way too close to home.... I am only 25 but I was born with a genetic disorder that effects many of my organ including my heart and I have given this look before and i was extremely close to not making it but I was saved by my local paramedics and following that spend a week in ICU and many weeks in hospital (not my first rodeo unfortunately but definitely my hardest and most scary) 😢 So much respect for these guys and I strive to one day become a paramedic, to make a difference to someone just like they did for me. I just need to get my body stronger first ♥️🥰
