“Do you agree with that James?”😂😂

I ran into William Defoe at my local laundromat. It was just the two of us. I starred at him and asked the obvious: "Aren't you...?" He said yes. I apologized for disturbing him. He said, 'We're in a laundromat.' I loved the fact that their was no artifice no ego. We had a wonderful conversation. I ran into him again and his wife was with him. He introduced her to me. If I had my wits about me I would have asked him and his wife if they had time for a coffee. He was gracious and totally genuine. By the way, the laundromat is right down the street from my small apartment in Paris.

The fact that Willem Dafoe doesn’t have an Oscar yet tells me the industry really lacks acknowledgment for originality. He’s legendary. For the vas character he has portrayed and created.

I can't believe I missed this... Sam Rockwell and Gary Oldman, together... My head just exploded. I've put these two guys on a pedestal as being above and beyond any other actors of our generation. They are the upper echelon, in a league of their own.

I loved The Florida Project so much, I watched it three times in a row, and then I watched it a few days later. It’s such a wonderful movie—it has a sweetness of a different era.

Tom Hanks. When everybody else is hesitant, he just says it. So much honesty. I love him for that.

Willem Dafoe has always been Oscar worthy, I hope the Academy Awards recognise him soon. I felt he should've got the Oscar for At Eternitys Gate.

Loved Sam Rockwell in Galaxy Quest. A very underrated movie and his comedy chops were on spot.

When you are sitting at a table with a number of performing powerhouses, I think most young actors would freeze up. They would focus only on the awe of the moment. John Boyega, I am very pleased to see the opposite. He embraced the opportunity to speak and to listen with his peers. He was very open, and the others around him listened to what he had to say and responded. I am very impressed for such a young person and actor in that sort of company.

Respect to the interviewer for going right at Franco, had him squirming

The fact that they were talking about James right in front of him was crazy then he’s asked “do you agree James?” His eyes like 😳
