  • I volunteered for a cat shelter, and was a trapper for feral cats at risk. While transferring a female cat from a trap to a carrier, I was bitten on my arms in various places, never let go of the frightened cat and transferred her to the carrier and to safety. The next time I had chemotherapy for Lymphoma, my oncologist called in a specialist to treat me. The kitty was allowed to quarantine for 14 days at the cat shelter. I was so worried about her. She later became my companion, sweet, loving, loyal when she learned she could trust me. I now work with snakes. I love them.

Those little kitty nibbles with their tiny front teeth are so cute. 🙂 When I was a little girl we had a very gentle neutered tomcat. He'd let us pet him, carry him around, wear him around our necks like a mink stole. But when we were too rough, or had played too long, he had a really clear way of letting us know. He'd take our finger, or the side of our hand, in his teeth, and just hold it. Never bite down, just hold it, and give us a very meaningful look. No mistaking what he meant. And also, never worry that he was going to hate us forever. He was saying, "OK little one, that's enough for now." And we'd let him go, and he'd go take a nap on top of the refrigerator, and when he was ready to play or be petted, he'd find us again. He really was a wonderful cat.

I worked at a vet clinic that would de claw. It is the exact same as if someone CUT OFF the tips of your fingers. It is amputation! Not just the nails, but the toe tip. Never declaw a cat. You can however, teach yourself or have a groomer trim the sharp tips of the nails. I groomed for 50 years. My cat will lick me, (groom me) then give a little nibble as a finish up clue. Or the other time she nibbles is if I am ignoring her and she needs to do get something for her such as fresh water, more food, clean the litter box. These are all done daily but sometimes she wants it ahead of the regular time.
  • I would NEVER get my Maine Coon cat Lucky de-nailed. Its CRUEL!!!.😃😘❤🤗🤗🤗

I’m learning the difference between love bites and “don’t touch me now” bites lol 😸
  • The 2min time out rule, ain't that just gonna hurt their feelings if they're just trying to say sorry. It sounds a bit unkind but then my girl don't hurt she only holds wlhen she bites & its only me she's close enough to do that with. She likes to hold a finger while we go bed😂

We rescued a 13 years old female cat that was left on the streets after her owner, an old man, was taken to a home for the elderly. After one week at my home, she is still angry all the time. Every time I approach her, she makes menacing sounds, she has bitten me once and scratched my hands. She is so angry all the time. The only time she approaches me is when I bring her her food, but she is angry even while she's eating, grunting all the time. I don't know what to do. I don't want to take her to a shelter. Will I have to deal with her from a prudent distance and let her be angry all the time?
  • According to the report I got from a coroner, if your cat hasn't been fed for a day or two, and you dropped dead in your house or apartment, they will feast on you. He said it happened all the time! So, you explanation leaves an important detail out.

One if my cats loves to make biscuits on my legs. I do have a medical problem with my legs, and take this that my cat is giving me healing. Declawing - a definite NO. Declawing is so cruel, and is animal abuse. It should be banned in all countries.
  • I sincerely hope that the reasons you give don't also apply to vampires!

When I was in high school one of my classmates was bitten on the top of her head by her cat. It became infectioned & they had to amputate her head. She didn’t return till the next school year & no one recognized her cause she had no head anymore. Please be cautious when it comes to animal bites brah
