You don't come off as arrogant; you come off as being realistic. Good stuff.
-
enjoy what we do is all we can ask for......best of luck with your summer racing
-
Great to see you so positive and enthusiastic!
-
Mate, you absolutely do NOT sound arrogant. You've put in the hours, you've done the miles, you've earned the confidence. You're not belittling others by saying you're hitting your splits.
-
Love this confidence Andy! You're training is very inspiring and it's great to see you getting into PB shape 👍
-
You got this, but remember dont over do it, recover, rest and eat well 🎉
-
Fantastic update - keep up the good work! Keeping my fingers crossed for your Pb attempt. You’ve put in so much hard work
-
The arrogance disclaimer is hilarious! It's fine to feel confident when you're training well and improving. I hope you smash it!
-
I’m thrilled for you Andy. What a wonderful series of training for yourself and videos for us. I can see the progress week on week and I’m pretty certain you are on course for a great 10k.
-
All sounding really good Andy. It's a great feeling when the training really starts to click 👍

The Couriers Jon Ward 5k is 5 laps around the new(ish) cycle track, its a brand new course so should be interesting to see how it works with lapping other runners (or in my case being lapped! 😂). I've done a few early morning speed sessions on it and it can get a bit windy in parts because of how open the surrounding area is but should still be pretty quick!
-
It is hard to find a 10K race near me in the northeast US unless it's November. Since I started racing in 2017, I've done 68 5Ks and only five 10Ks.
-
Yeah I had chickenpox last year in September and before that my heart rate was mid 40's and now it's low 50's 😮 training harder than ever but not going down. Getting pbs though but only been running 3 years.
-
You almost beat Ben is Running not so long ago 🔥😃 So I assuming you must being pretty fast as well 🔥🔥🔥🔥 Because Ben is fast like the wind 🌬️ 🙌 So great job mate 💪😍
-
Great training, how fast dyou have to be to enter podium 5k I’m only just under 20? Seems like quite an elite race.
-
Hopefully you'll chat to a few on the start line and tag on to a pack that's aiming 32:50👊and unleash that inner focus and belief 🦾🏃
-
I can follow your analysis, but what goes through my mind is: my coach always told me (and also all kind of calculators online) that your 5 and 10k times are connected with the equation: 5k x 2 + around 1:30min = potential 10k time. For me this has always been close to reality. Even your new 5k PB of 16:08 x 2 + 1:30 gives you still only 33:46 which is far of your 10k PB. With a 33:00 on a 10K you should easily go sub 16min on the 5K. I think your new training focus finally brings your 5k PB to were it can be. Hopefully that will also transfer to a new 10K (and marathon) PB.

London 10k is fairly flat but as you said there are a lot of u-turns, not the easiest to pb and you don't get much shade throughout
-
Are you in 10k PB shape? Yes, you've just run a 5k PB so it's going to happen. Be patient, stay consistent and trust the process and the PB will come! Good luck 👍👍👍
-
I’ve never ever thought you come across as arrogant. You have to believe in yourself and back yourself. Keep smashing it Andy.
