Excellent review! You are truly professional at presenting a product. I'm convinced this zoom lens is suitable for me.

I have their 10-30mm eyepiece and love it!

I've always been happy with Svbony products. I have a Celestron zoom eyepiece and I leave it on my first refractor scope all the time, Its great for the moon and planets. Yes, you have to refocus as you zoom but that's easy to do. Nice review!

I’ve been considering this eyepiece for a while, so I’m delighted to see this review. I have a very cheap, pretty crappy telescope (beginner’s error unfortunately), and am not blessed with a huge budget, therefore feel that a fancy, expensive eyepiece would be wasted on it. So I have been mostly sticking to Svbony products, and have yet to be let down by one. They are always seem to be far better built than the price would have you expect. Looking forward to adding this to my collection! Thank you for posting 🙏🏼.

Hi, friend. A few months ago I bought a zoom lens identical to this one. I am very happy and satisfied with it. It is very practical when it comes to varying the magnification, without losing sharpness. It is also very easy to use. I agree 100% with your review. It is also a very accessible, compact and very well built product. I highly recommend it. I use it on a Celestron Astromaster 130mm f5 telescope. Thanks for the video. Best regards from Uruguay.

Zoom eyepieces have come a long way. I have this eyepiece and the feel, eye relief and reduced chromatic aberrations make this worthy of casual observation in my f10 SCT. Its a good value at this price.

I've got one of those Svbony zoom eyepieces, it is my favorite eyepiece among the few that I have.
  • Thank you for taking the time to review so many products. As expensive as eyepieces are as well as the initial investment I made with my new 10" Dobsonian, a little savings here and there is nice. Again, thank you for giving us beginners your opinion on so many things. Very appreciated.

I have that eye piece and it works very well on my 8" SCT, It's a great eye piece when I entertaining a crowd of people With my telescope I mainly use 21 and 12 mm.

I’ve used the Celestron zoom eyepiece for years in multiple scopes and have to say it’s been a great piece and a money saver!
  • I bought one of the 10 to 30 mm zoom lens and its amazing how far it zooms in!. and I am going to get one of the 7 to 21 mm zoom!. they are worth every penny!

Great video. @8:00 I believe the FOV actually increases as focal length shortens. Specs on their website show that from 7-21mm it's 57°-40° (if I read that correctly) I liked their variable lunar filter so I took a gamble and bought their 7-21mm zoom 2 months ago. When you attach the variable filter it makes for a great lunar eyepiece. It takes some fiddling with but you'll get a feel for using both together. So far it's my favorite and most versatile eyepiece. My telescope is a Meade Infinity 90mm for anyone curious. On a side note if you are considering or need video ideas, how about a series for beginners on how and what to view with your telescope? The moon is a good place to start for obvious reasons but even there as a beginner I don't really know what to look for and when. Think of it like a guided tour of the craters and lava flows and the best times to see them.
