Labor adds ‘$30,000 for every household’ to spending since coming to office

Shadow Home Affairs Minister James Paterson says the Albanese government have added “$30,000 for every Australian household” to its spending since they came to office.

Australia’s inflation rate rose from 3.6 per cent to 4 per cent in May.

Markets are now predicting a 67 per cent chance of a rate hike in August.

“There’s no question Jim Chalmers has been unable to say no at the Expenditure Review Committee, and billions of dollars of spending … about $30,000 for every Australian household has been added to spending,” Mr Paterson told Sky News Australia.

“That is fuelling inflation.”

Under labour, everyone has more money in their bank but they can’t afford anything.
  • A drastic reduction in income taxes would be a great relief to working families and small businesses that employ people, everyone wage rise increases income tax revenue for the government and does nothing to taxpayers cash flow

What would the modelling show if WA was never a member state of the Commonwealth?
A Commonwealth is designed to be greater than the sum of its individual parts, where the benefits to Citizens of the C'Wealth be positively geared to offset the cost of participation.
@immune2PR  without the positively geared benefits... whats the point? The C'Wealth cant even meet the most basic of fundamentals...The 28day Standard!
