Take a short trip with me to Dawson City, Canada. Have a look at how the "average, not for TV" miner gets gold. No staged arguments, breakdowns, or deadlines. No scripted drama, or ridiculous million ounce goals. Just average miners trying to make a few bucks and have a little fun doing it. The mining season lasts from May to the first of October, or as soon as the water freezes. Thanks for watching.

  • An excellent film, uncluttered by the usual verbal jabbering and feigned drama. Far more interesting and informative than all the combined seasons of Yukon Gold. Thanks for sharing and taking the time to put this together. Exemplary work..... A+.

By far and away one of the best gold mining videos I've seen. Love the fact that you show the journey and how rugged everything still is up there. I only wish you had ended it showing yourself holding a giant salmon or something from that lake at the end of it. Kudos to you for living your dream!
  • This was quite the awesome adventure video. Everything about it! The Float-Plane ride looked awesome, as did the gold findings: WOW! The Yukon looks beautiful and has hidden wealth. Gold Fever! Thanks for talking us on the ride. ....Funny, I just realized that I'd watched and commented some 4 years ago. And yet I loved watching it again. Peace out.
  • Woooooooow. That was a GREAT video. Beautiful imagery. The road, the animals, flipped trailer, the weather, the landscape, the frozen tunnel, the plane. Aw man!
  • Great video! It's understandable how somebody might catch gold fever watching videos like these. I love seeing all the work that goes into getting that gold.

I'm so glad that for whatever reason I just happened to click on this video. It's New Years Day 2020 and I was watching TV and waiting for the Rose Parade to start. Thanks for taking me with you on your adventure. I'm 73 and living with physical problems that limit damned near everything I do. But watching this video makes realize how much I missed. Thanks for showing me a bit of the Yukon.
