I am 51 and I have been collecting dolls…American Girl, Barbie, Tonner, BJD, Phicen…my entire life. My fulltime Etsy shop is actually related to this hobby. My husband and kids are used to it so they don’t really say anything😂. It is actually a very popular hobby worldwide.

I collect Barbies, and sometimes Bratz and Monster High. Sure, there’s definitely some doing it for the wrong reasons, but otherwise collecting dolls is no different to any other hobby like collecting funko pops, books, art, makeup/fashion or any memorabilia. Collecting isn’t necessarily hoarding, as long as the person is doing it in a healthy way that doesn’t consume the entirety of their life. The title had me a little worried, but I love how you were so supportive of his passion! This video was pretty wholesome itself 🫶
