Hey Toonz, the scratch you got at 1:02:53 got you infected and that's why you got sick. Scratches from a zombie have a 7% chance of infection, Lacerations have a 25% chance, and bites are 100%. A few tips for your next run: - You can attach weapons to your back and belt by right clicking them in your inventory, which will put them in the hotbar slot down at the bottom. - When you are in a car you can change seats by pressing Z, and pressing N will turn the car off so you don't have to click the ignition at the bottom, it's just a little hotkey to make things easier. - If zombies get too close, you can push them back with spacebar, you can also keep doing this to push zombies to the ground to easily kill them. - If a window is shattered you can right click it to clear the broken glass with a weapon in your hand so you don't cut yourself when you climb through by holding E, open a window pressing E if the glass hasn't been broken. Some windows can have curtains you can close to prevent zombies from seeing you through the windows. It can be helpful to close them if you stay in a house for a little bit. - Always watch your back when fighting zombies, sometimes they can sneak up behind you to get the chomp.

It’s insane that they never once bothered looting the ambulances for medicine despite passing so many 😂
  • @guypalperson928
Toonz hosting more Project Zomboid with the crew is an absolute must
  • @MrSOCCERmiles
I appreciate that Squirrel actually narrated his death so well He even included the size of the house he was in 😂😂🤣
  • @Moerighan
I never knew I needed this until now, time to buckle in for the long haul. 3 hours of Toonz is a gift.

If you guys are planning on playing more of this I got a few tips from my time playing. 1. Go to your settings and turn on the weapon outline, this will highlight zombies when they're in range to hit and saves you from whiffing. 2. Get accustomed to hotkeys. Shift+Scroll Wheel in inventory will quick swap between containers and your bags, H will pull up your health status, and V in a car will open an interactable menu. 3. Blunt weapons have higher knockdown and durability, while blades have higher damage and will put holes in clothing (bad if you want the zombies jacket). 4. For base building, keep an eye out for essentials such as trash bags (for water collectors) and nails. 5. If you're not deadset on playing vanilla, you should get some QOL mods; some recommendations are weapons durability indicator and moodles/traits explained.

A few tips for Toonz: 1. Reading skill books give an ex boost to that particular skill. E.g doing crafting and carpenter stuff after reading carpenter book will level you up faster. 2. You. Don't need to eat or drink the whole thing for the thirst or hunger status to go away. Try having 1/3 of the stuff to manage resources better. 3. Zombs are attracted to noise as well as light. You can switch off the lights or put on curtains. You can craft curtains from ripped clothes or sheets. 4. Avoid running or sprinting if you can. Stamina is limited, a tired character will do less damage and do everything slowly. If you do find yourself in a tough situation, you can have a coffee or vitamin do give you a temporary energy to perform at max. 5. Fishing is a great way to get food, if you are planning to set up your base away from the city. You will need a fishing rod or a spear. Both of them can be crafted. 6. BEWARE of the helicopter event. If it sees you it will circle around you attracting all the zombies to your location. Try listening to your radio, in most cases you will be informed in advance. My suggestion would be to have a second base or an outpost where you can spend time to avoid surrounding your main base with zombies.

I love the 'everyone was a noob once' speech, people need to remember that more.
  • @GG_ab
The comedic timing of Squirrel shooting at 18:29 is hilarious
  • @Gutslinger
At the very beginning, Squirrel said he was by a hospital. Then they spent the last 30 minutes or so looking for a hospital, without Squirrel recollecting that he allegedly saw one at the beginning.

There needs to be more zomboid content like this. no challenges, no end goal, just simply playing the game :)
  • @lt.love1016
I hope you bring back the hype. I wanted to see more of this game with a bunch of people on it.
  • @donnyboy6848
A video of this with all your friends would be legendary. More the merrier
  • @tarrantwolf
If you ever find yourself in a zombie apocalypse remember, spears are just about the best anti human melee weapon ever invented and firearms with low grain subsonic rounds and suppressors are much quieter than supersonic rounds.
  • 1:03:03 “I’ve got 13 dollars! … Does that matter?” “I don’t think so” lmfaoooo 😂😂😂

Cartoonz and project zomboid is a perfect combo! Super excited to watch this!
  • @jackbush2774
Finally!!!!!!!! Oh my lanta, he's playing it!!!! Please make this into a long series. I promise a lot of us will thoroughly enjoy this trip! P.S.- it's better to crouch sprint. You're less likely to have zombies notice you. Since there are two of you, you should split your skills evenly. Always have a little medical experience. When there's the helicopter saty inside! If you dont run to a random house wayyy away from your base until it goes away. Use a trowel to dig, not your hands. Learn the generator skill for later to be able to get gas out of gas stations once the power goes off. Collect EVERY, and I mean EVERY garbage bag to make tons of water collectors later on. Depending on your journey you want to do (depending on your settings) you could build a house out in the wilderness like your house you're building right now IRL. Build a farm out there and all

So glad to see Toonz playing this game. These "movie" episodes are so sick.
  • @Lostblade01
Squirrel's panicking is top tier comedy lol
