Hunter then developed their iconic Wellington Boot, inspired by Arthur Wellesley, the Duke of Wellington, that is still sold today and is seen as a staple of the modern wardrobe.     It's surprising that it's history has links to vulcanized rubber yet the quality of today's China made ones crack and peel after a few years indicating it's poor quality rubber being used. Legacy brands like this moving to China shows their commitment to their stock holders instead of their quality and brand heritage.
