This video has been updated! We needed to adjust the image of the portosystemic shunt and we also we added a symptoms section, a diagnosis section, a treatment section, and a recap section.
  • Seriously guys, this channel deserves way more subscribers and each video should have millions of views, all of them are amazing! Keep up the good work and thanks a lot for making it easy to study.
  • Though there are thousands of videos on YouTube explaining cirrhosis. But this is the most useful one becoz it shows the functioning of the cell and its pathology in the form of great animation and humor. Osmosis is Awesome.🥰
  • I was diagnosed with cirrhosis based on Fibroscan requested by my gastroenterologist and on december 2021 my score was 15.7kpa, so stage 4 (cirrhosis) which was caused by fatty liver disease, I started the ketogenic diet with intermittent fasting , 1 year, 75 fewer pounds later, yesterday I went for another fibroscan, my score went from 15.7kpa to 4.5kpa, stage 1(mild/no fibrosis) so.. Cirrhosis IS reversible

Love love this ... I watched a lecture video, which took about 30 mins, and I usually watch another video for more illustration . For a quick recap, this is a perfect summary !!! Everything aligned with the lecture
  • Excellent video. Make another video on what to do to keep your liver healthy and what food is good for you or bad for your liver.

I’m currently preparing for my university exams and your videos are SO helpful to understand concept of the topics❤️
  • It's important to call it specifically as "hepatic or liver cirrhosis" because based on definitions and terminology, cirrhosis itself is a complication which can potentially appear in other tissues or organs as well(e.g. in breast and etc.). Somebody please correct me if I'm wrong. thanks
