As a friend once put it, "There are no atrocities in war. War IS an atrocity. " We are all guilty.
-
The narrator is talking a lot about the Romans.... When will he start talking about Boudica? Very little about the Britton queen or her brave daughters.
-
Did anyone else get the sense that this was somebody's History Class final project?
-
Must say that this documentary seems more made as a telling of pro Roman work the narrator talks on and on about Roman and there “good” that came to Britannia and when he actually gets to talking about Boudica he only talks of her and her people as a foot note in the events of the time and as for the final battle where the up rising was crushed just remember people the all happened after Hannibal’s war on Roman so the roman generals had seen how a smaller army can defeat a larger force cause Hannibal had pulled the same trick against Roman and he won that battle
-
Very good but could have done without the editorializing and pro Roman bias at the end. Everything Boudica did was justified in response to the savagery of the Romans. She remains a hero to all those who believe in the right to national self defense against invasion.

Unfortunately all we have to go on is what has been written by Roman historians. We have yet to find any written accounts from the Celtic peoples, if there are any. So, who's to say that what was written by the Romans, enemies of the Celts, is at all true?
-
Video seems to concentrated on the Romans, very little of the Celts and Boudicca.
-
Wow, I am really impressed with this particular woman of history. The Warrior Queen, Boudicca.
-
I just love all the speech coming from my left ear and the odd ambient sound from my right. Not even going to touch the repeating Roman propaganda done.
-
I have great admiration for those who fought the romans with such bravary.
-
Thought this was about Boudicca, there is plenty out there on the Romans.
-
You guys making comments are right. This video could be named THE ROMAN SOLDIERS AND some celtic people
-
How weird. Last night I was looking for "Enya humming song" as it was stuck in my head and I ended up finding it on Youtube. It's called "Boadicea"; some comments pointed out who the song was about, and I really wanted to learn more about this celtic warrior queen. Now this appears in my feed, pretty darn cool. Love this channel <3

The narrator used a word "throved'. As in they throved. As far as I know there's no such word ..it's they thrived.
-
Celtic culture was discovered in wales going back to the bronze age and still exists today so even in the time of queen Boudica Celtic cultures had existed for the "short" period of 1000 years.
-
I liked how the author blames religion for the cause of all war while leaving out how the Roman empire at the time of the up rising was killing Christians in the some way the queen was killing Romans. Including turn them into human torches
-
Any tribes of people that dealt Rome even temporary grief get a cheer from me. Spartacus, Hannibal, the Gauls, the Jews. It's all good.
-
Lost in a Roman wilderness of pain Where all the children are insane
-
Like watching a football match when the announcer us an alumni if one of the teams. The "Yay team Roman" got old.
