So many unique competitors in this one!! Who was your favorite?
-
I’m actually really shocked and scared for society by seeing that people here think you need to be good in physics or a nerd to figure out that the Center of gravity shifts to the heavier site. That’s like basic preschool knowledge
-
anyone notice how nick said "go get some beers guys" and the subtitles said "go get some protein shakes guys" man I love these guys!
-
The guy trying to lift it from the light end was great he probably learned physics from cartoons.
-
That last guy made it look so easy. No way he doesn't workout haha.
-
the last guy was so chill, truly blessed
-
I kept wondering if someone was going to try and grab outside of the weights- But I suppose the way Nick did it was pretty good too lol
-
There's three ways to accomplish this lift. One is a hand on each side of the heavy side, another is how Nick did it, and the third is shoulder width grip against the heavy side, pushing down on the hand toward the lighter side while pulling up on the heavier side.
-
the physics invloved - TORQUE = F * R R is the distance from axis of rotation . the axis is where you are trying to lift it F - Force(in this case gravitation ) = mg(mass*gravity) so the far you hold the bar from the heavy side the more hard it is to lift. as R increase ,torque increases
-
There is a large gravitational force pulling the left end downwards and a smaller gravitational force pulling the right end downwards. In order for the torques (i.e. the rotation caused by a force) to balance, the distance from the heavy weight must be small and the distance from the lighter weight must be big as torque = force * distance. Therefore, by pulling the bar from a spot very close to the large weight, the weight will be stable and won't rotate in a particular direction.

Thanks for keeping the captions family friendly lol 8:05

This is basically a "are you fit and a nerd at the same time" test and I love it. 😂
-
The dude who said he paid attention in physics and then started lifting from the center of the bar 🤦🏼♂️😅
-
The people picking it up from the light end caused me physical pain
-
8:06 😂 subtitles says protein shake
-
My man! I was just thinking about this two days ago. I couldn't find any video of people trying this other than the classical one. Thank you for the good content, as always!
-
I love how he change beers to protein shakes on the subtitles😂
-
yo the fact that guy almost did it with the wrong technique is insane
-
I love your videos Nick. They keep getting more and more creative.
-
Dude at the end really IS blessed. He surely has talent.
