I love that Optimus is characterized correctly in this. Also in case anyone didn’t know, he’s not named Optimus because of his Optimism, but rather because of a Latin word “Optimus” meaning “best”, and with Prime meaning something that’s really important, Optimus Prime literally means “The best and most important.”

I love it that is a younger Optimus voice being used here. You normally have in these fandubs for Transformers it be based off contemporary Cullen's voice, which with age has added that gravitas and seriousness to Prime's voice. Remember, G1 cartoon Prime was playing basketball and going to casinos to gamble
