I think its interesting that Execs on a Marvel movie watched The Matrix to get the inspiration to wear black leather instead of watching Blade. Blade was a really successful Marvel movie/character that wore Black Leather. It also came out before The Matrix. I would even argue there's a good chance The Matrix got inspiration from Blade. And ironically Ryan Reynolds was in one of those movies.
