Sorry, but the layout was eerily similar to Da Vinci's painting. Sweetin is too afraid to go against the Hollywood pagans. Besides, the organizers already apologized.
-
How are dressing in drag or semi-nude or posing in sexually provocative positions appropriate for what should be a family-friendly international event? One official already admitted the choreographer took inspiration from the Last Supper - the title of it even translates (in part) to the "Last Supper." Easily, this was offensive and in very poor taste for many of us.
-
Even if its about celebrating pagan gods and queers, vulgarity and exposure has no place in the olympic arena which is open to the whole world.
-
It was inspired by stupidity 🙄
-
Team Candace! That was an insult!
-
who?
-
They knew there would be comparisons to The Last Supper. Regardless, why was this performance basically a pride parade? June isn't enough anymore, it has to be shoved into every movie, show, book. If they're trying to unite the whole world, try not to insult so many people with something that could be misconstrued as inappropriate and divisive. They are creating their own opposition.
-
Of course she does. And no, she didn't "shut down" critics, we cannot be shut down.
-
I have to say,the rest of the world doesnt react to stuff like this like we do in America.
-
This is the thing: they’re both entitled to their opinions/how they took it and having differing opinions doesn’t mean they’re a single ounce less close 🤷♀️
-
Sorry, not a fan of having my religion disrespected. Try that with the Muslim faith if you want to see a true reaction
-
This had nothing to do with the Last Supper or the Christian faith.
-
It did not have anything to do with the Last Supper but was a scene to do with the Pagan gods & Dionysius. Do people know anything about Greek mythology and the Olympics? There was some symbolism to France in there as well. People also thought men's privates were exposed but they weren't. Some people just want to be offended. You tell them it wasn't about their faith and they dont want to hear it.
-
Whatever was inspired was awful..period..🤦♀️🥴🗑🗑🗑🗑🗑🗑
-
Oh please, nobody cares for your opinion whoever you are either. The Olympic organiser in her "apology" and some of the people that were part of the whole disgusting debacle said it's from the Last supper.
-
Everyone claiming to know about art or history probably knew nothing about this Greek mythology painting.
-
I missed the ending of the opening ceremony because I fell asleep sleep. I’m so ticked.
-
Who cares? This isn't even happening in America?
-
Ahhh Jodie toeing the party line in case she loses work for being anti woke 😂😂😂 Love Aurora Teagarden.❤

Conservative Christians getting triggered by the most innocuous things is my favorite spectator sport.
