Mage is an extremely complicated class with so much going on in Season of Discovery WoW Classic, and that's why this video is so long. Very much unlike the Druid and some other classes you cannot just get one overpowered Rune at level 1 and then just start stampeding your way to max level.
But does that mean the class is just bad? Do I need to know mage before I can start playing this new SoD mage? When and How do I AOE level? And What spec should I play? We find out the answers to all of these questions and more. Along with some helpful tips along the way so that no matter if you've been playing mage for 20 years or just now picking the class up, you can get a good idea of exactly what you want to focus your energy on and why. This not only saves you time but also the effort of having to try out different methods of leveling and spending mental brainpower comparing it to alternative solutions. When I figured out I could LOH myself with living flame and regeneration I stayed up all night AOE grinding like a crackhead until I dinged 25.

you actually don't need another person to unfreeze the murloc for the burnout rune, just takes more time and need living flame.

You can solo burnout rune with 2-3 cast of living flame. Just rank 1 fireball, fire blast, and living flame. When living flame stops doing damage just wand until living flame comes back off cd.

i like arcane the most in sod, simply because its different. i have been playing mage for years and while frost and fire are both fun i decided to go for arcane in sod and im having a blast

From the guides you've shown so far, Horde runes sound like a total bitch compared to Alliance runes.

As a mage main this phase, leveling was ass , so much drinking , and kiting compared to priest imo mage is the worst caster right now
