I have a Z4 E86 and on the road it's a little soft and the brakes are just about OK. This would translate to pretty soft and very poor brakes on track. Nothing that couldn't be fairly easily sorted though. Engine wise, it's no rocket, but I'd defy anyone not to smile at the exhaust and induction noise, it's really addictive.

Why do you guys continue to compare a nearly 20 year old , naturally asperated, 4cyl. car with much newer 6cyl. cars. Don't forget, at the time it was introduced, the S2K handily beat the Boxster, Nissan and BMW all 6cyl. cars.
