Regenerate! at the National Orchestra Institute

Regenerate director Clay Gonzalez and cellist Wesley Hornpetrie led a workshop introducing the Regenerate model to students at the National Orchestra Institute as part of their "Innovation Lab." Students learned about an alternate way to write, organize, and perform orchestra music, engaged in listening exercises, and ultimately performed a "regenerative immersion" for chamber orchestra. The regenerate model allows non-musicians to join in the orchestral performance, and in this video you'll see members of the Innovation Lab staff making sounds along side the orchestral musicians.
