  • Dude... when you leave your base, you place torches on the LEFT (i.e. you left your base). This way, when you turn around, you can find the RIGHT way home (i.e. torches on the right, you're going the right way, etc...) Language is our friend. And bring a half stack of jack-o-lanterns to place with the smile facing toward you as you head back home - always good for messy cave systems, especially when you're using torches everywhere to stop mob spawning. And for long journeys, you want a Silk Touch pick to maximize your ore haul, not a Fortune III axe. Attsamattayou?
  • Lets go! 16:23 that pause to munch steak sent me 😂 Love the edit cuts as you get the verbiage just right, has become a Prowl staple I feel like

Its very refreshing to see and hear thought proccesses. Plenty of content creators just cut it out. While professional, is sounds highly rehearsed
  • Fun episode as always!! I love finding shiny new things in the caves!!
  • 3 torches for entrances/exits of caves but I light up anywhere I can on the floor. Walls are for navigation, floor is for light. I only use the torches on the right when going through vanes or tunnels.

It's fun and informative episode as always! Exploring cave is a lot of fun, even though it's scary sometimes if you haven't decent armour and weapon to fight off mobs that lurking down there. I always bring dirt or sand for navigating cause they look out of place, so it's easier to see from a distance
  • Those lush caves look so amazing. I should go caving lol. Great episode - in English tho it's "stream and I" roflmao.

For cave navigation, I bring a stack of dirt. I place a dirt block down and put a torch on the face of the block that faces the direction I came from. It acts almost like a cairn. Then I know to look for those markers when I need to find my way out, and I can still use torches (not on dirt blocks) to light up the cave elsewhere without it getting confusing.

I'm not sure if we are thinking the same thing with those spawners...... train track and a mine cart. If you set them both up with trident killers and have a straight section of track that takes you back and forth into the range of the 2 spawners. I've noticed that when you move into spawner range, they normally drop the first mobs out pretty quickly and then theres a gap before they can spawner the next load of mobs. If you have a slight delay at each end of the track you could get both spawners working fairly fast. Each spawner may not work as fast as if you were stood in range the whole time but you'd probably make it up by having 2 spawners running 🤔 I'm going to have to test this theory because I think its a pretty cool idea that might work really well. Thanks for another great episode 😊👍👍👍👍👍👍

can't wait to see the spawners finished
  • It looked like you ate your torch near the end. 😂
  • I always take a shulker box if you have it for storing all the ores. And instead of lighting 1 side to know your way...I light up everything and use wood or cobblestone to make arrows or indicators where to go.
  • A tip for caving, bring a stack of blocks that 100% don't belong in a cave and a stack or two of torches. As you clear areas, place a block that doesn't belong in a cave within eyesight of another block that doesn't belong in a cave, then place a torch on top of it. Think of it like breadcrumbs or landmarks. This will keep you from getting lost.
  • Oh I’m like 400 days into my latest world and looking into automated tree farms. Don’t think “what I want to see” fits the current early game. Maybe move out of that tent? 😂 And a caving tip, place torches for directions on the walls and torches for lighting it all up on the floor. That way you can visually scan those massive caves and see, ahh there is the wall torch indicating the way out. Ya know, floor torches are upright and wall placed are angled, easy to spot the difference at distance.
  • A week too late for me after my lethal lush cave escapade 😅😅 lessons have been learnt
  • @spike3688
Chunkbase has let me down on so many searches, I have a creative copy of my world while using spectator mode. Easy way to find anything your looking for.
  • hey prowl does that zombie spanwer villager discount thing still works? like if u have your villagers around spawner and then kill zombies they'll give discounts that way you don't have to use healing method to get discount. just build your trading hall around spawner
