I think that the brawlers who will counter cordelius will be brawlers with a really strong main attack, since you can't use supers or gadgets if you're in the shadow realm.

Its gonna be interesting in Solo Showdown teaming, because imagine 10 people are still alive the zone is very small and then you just use super and then you and the other guy is safed from everyone. Thats broken

My thoughts on his gadgets and star power Gadget 1: jump seems basic as heck, but he can dodge projectiles and attack throwers with it Gadget 2: allows for better suprise attacks and easier matchups against other melee brawlers Star power 1: way more consistent, huge dps Star power 2: makes his super an even more unfair 1v1

Another thing to note, I think, is that his super is perfect for pulling an enemy brawler out of the match temporarily, giving ur teammates some relief maybe from a counter or whatnot.

Didn't the devs say cordelius' super prevents enemies from using gadgets or supers? I think that's broken

This character is 100% gonna be like A tier he has so much utility, he has so many ways to use his super, you can 1v1 someone and kill them, you can basically use it to go invisible and also make yourself invincible, like if your the gem carrier and the countdown stars you can literally just hit someone with the super and basically the enemy team can’t stop you

I REALLY like him, he seems very strong and both his star powers and gadgets are usable!

My opinion is that he will be a strong brawler if used right. Also I don't think there is a better gadget. The jump one is to use against throwers and brawlers with strong one hit abilities and his silence one will be good against aggressive brawlers.

Cordelius in showdown will be SO FUNNY. Imagine teaming with a frank and spamming super the entire game and getting top3 that way...

I have a question, does pets like mr.p's porters, tara's shadows or nita's bear get hit by his super, and if so they are literally what gets transported to the shadow realm instead of an enemy brawler? I'm asking this because even though robots in training field are usually considered as "special targets" (same as pets or the heist safe for example), they do actually enter the dimension

Cordelius' mastery title made me think a future QoL improvement could be to be able to choose if your title goes before or after your name. It's weird to have Gene Toxic as opposed to Toxic Gene. :D

By the way has someone tested that brawler (forgot the name) that can control others? What if if A uses super on B to control B, and then someone from team B user a control super on the possessed B or on A, what happens. Also can it happen that they use their supers on each other simultaneously, what then? Also fun fact, I used a control super on an Otis and that Otis supered me before that and we both couldn't move (my super which controller Otis was disabled). Lmao

Carl is versatile Shelly is really good Cordelius seem either really good or really bad depending matchup Mr.P is just a good counter So which 3 should i upgrade next season? Btw with cordelius super does it take out like smoke in showdown or knockout?

I think that Cordelius is gonna be a lot better than you say in here. The reason I say this is because you can switch lanes off a bad matchup and I think his good matchups are murder. I would also venture to guess that with good rotation with teammates, he can have a lane opponent and an opponent he targets with his super. He can beat his bad mus in his super, thus I think he can often be targeting the most valuable target regardless of what his lane looks like, which is not the case for other assassins barring leon sorta. Even then, it is a lot easier to defend your teammate against a Leon than Cordelius when the super pops.

I don’t think people in the comments understand how strong his first gadget is, he can not only prevail against people hiding behind walls, he can also dodge very good ults and attacks, and can also run from situations by going to another side of the wall, Ult Ex: Crow, Shelly, Mandy, Piper, Colt, Sprout, etc. Normal attack spam: Colt, Bull, Shelly, Bea, Piper, etc.
