One hundred years of communism in China - an incredible success story: The heirs of Mao Zedong have forged a new "empire" out of the crumbling empire of the yellow emperors with incredible rigor and single-mindedness. After the disastrous social experiments of the "Great Helmsman" Mao, the cunning Deng Xiaoping lay the foundation for the success story of the People's Republic of China with his pragmatic economic reforms. Now one of his successors, Xi Jinping, is setting out to turn the economic power into the new superpower of the 21st century. With gigantic investments in the military and the "New Silk Road" infrastructure project, the communists are trying to achieve new global prowess.

At the 20th party congress, party, state leader Xi Jinping wants to cement his power once and for all. After years of wild economic growth and the growing influence of China's super-rich, Xi has been tightening the reins again for some time. Chinese billionaires are disappearing from the scene, state-owned corporations are regaining influence, and separatists and unruly minorities are being mercilessly persecuted. Contrary to its own "Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence," the People's Republic of China is pursuing an aggressive nationalist foreign policy. International treaties and law are swept aside, and the last democratic structures in Hong Kong are smashed. In the South China Sea, reefs and islands that belong to other states according to the law of the sea are occupied and developed into military bases. The island state of Taiwan, officially still the "Republic of China," is threatened with invasion.

But the "Xi Jinping system" also shows weaknesses, the economy suffers from the government's strict zero covid course and about 20 percent of young adults are unemployed. A financial and real estate crisis is looming ominously, and the 1.4 billion-strong population is aging rapidly. Social tensions could endanger Xi Jinping's power.

biggest change the world have ever seen in 50 years its really phenomenal to say the least
  • I come from China, an ordinary person. I am not a member of the Communist Party. I have lived in China for more than 30 years. At present, I support China led by the CPC. Therefore, I changed this avatar on purpose. This is my personal opinion. A rapidly developing country will certainly encounter problems of one kind or another, but the system has been evolving and innovating. In 1979 and more than 40 years after the reform and opening up, the CPC has made remarkable achievements in industrial scale, talent reserves, scientific research ability, military strength, economic strength, international influence, etc. The advantages and disadvantages of the period from 1949 to 1979 should be regarded as an exploration of the road to national prosperity. China is a socialist country. One of the differences between China and capitalist countries is that China's political parties and people struggle for the overall strength of the country. Individual interests are subordinate to collective interests, and collective interests are subordinate to national interests. China has a 5000 year history of civilization, and all political systems can be found in China's long history. China has a Chinese style liberal democracy that does not need the Western style. Panda is cute, but you can't poke at it all the time because it looks cute. After all, he is a bear. If he is angry, the consequences will be serious

    作为一个中国人,我只能说,你拍的画面感觉就像是十多年前,在中国不需要十年,短短两三年的发展变化非常大。

  • @SKY-lu6xl
The images and images used in this documentary are still "old, dim, backward communist style", which is very different from the real China, and I hope that more Westerners will come to the field to see what the real China is like.
  • @rlai2201
We, and many of us who have schooled and raised in the West, fully and stand with China 🇨🇳 proud of China and it’s progress! We salute you!
  • The calendar says 2010 😅 You can't mix the materials from a long time ago with the materials from now into a documentary like this😢
  • @siemmuy8887
THANKS ALL CHINESE PEOPLE LOVE YOUR COUNTRY WISH ALL GO WELL
  • If the West plants ' Gorbachev" in China, then the situation will be reversed. For any country as diverse as China there is a need for the likes of Chao En Lai and Mao Tze Tung, which means discipline and the state comes first, greed comes last. One language by a visionary emperor helped the situation. Hope they will help neighboring countries to ensure stability which is being challenged by the Western powers.
  • Of course, history won't forgive me, if I fail to greet your people that has given my people comradeship over the years till date. Your Industrious nature is beyond doubt. I commend your Military strategies, which has made your arsenals formidable. This is because, you didn't throw away your traditional artifacts nor did you ignore your Acient wisdom.
  • @n.c9653
