In 2021, I went to Oahu, Hawaii. On every single hike I did, and every single beach I went to, I played SpongeBob music on repeat. I couldn't have imagined playing anything else that would've been as perfect.

My grandma recently died of stage 4 lung cancer a couple months ago but I remember in her last days this is all she would listen to. It filled the hospital room with a soft Hawaiian vibe and for a moment, it almost felt as if we weren't in a hospital. Almost as if she wasn't dying of cancer. This song will forever last in my mind as her memento in my life. Thankyou Stephen Hillenburg for all that you've done. You've certainly left a lasting impact on my family.

spongebob was more than just a TV show to me growing up; it was a sanctuary, a comforting escape from the chaos and trauma of my life. Whenever I tuned in to watch SpongeBob and his friends embark on their underwater adventures, I felt a sense of safety and warmth envelop me. The colorful animation, whimsical characters, and hilarious antics transported me to a world where laughter was abundant, and worries were nonexistent. I found solace in the soothing music that accompanied each episode, its melodies wrapping around me like a gentle embrace, calming my troubled mind and filling me with a sense of peace. "SpongeBob SquarePants" was my constant companion, a beacon of light during dark times, and for that, it will always hold a special place in my heart.

These vibes just don't exist in modern Spongebob. Season 1 might be my favourite because of that fantastic, calming, hawaiian feeling that I've never seen emulated elsewhere

I absolutely adore the production soundtrack for this show. It’s weird because I was only born in 2004 but I grew up with all the stuff my older brother liked who is like 3 years older than me, but the really early 2000’s strike such a nerve in my nostalgia I can’t explain it. I also never knew how much I liked this genre of calm elevator music

I am having surgery for a serious illness next week, and I will certainly be listening to this during my weeks of recovery. Thank you for blessing others with such a peaceful, happy, calming hour of music.

Growing up in the tropics watching Spongebob every day and evening and seeing palm trees swaying outside to the calm music made such a vibe as a kid. Then chilling to season 1, 2 & 3 episodes on Saturdays was so relaxing. Makes me wonder what everyone's doing in Bikini Bottom right now. 😇❤
