Lynskey Titanium Discovery Gravel Bike - A custom build.

11:47 for the final and impatient.
Hello this is my Lynskey titanium gravel bike build. It's a Backroads frameset with campagnolo ekar 13 speed and campagnolo shamal wheelset. Graphics in the theme of Star Trek discovery and a custom airbrushed front fork that is custom painted by myself with purple ghost flames.
The saddle is san marco, bar tape cyclovismo, the stem, handlebar and seat post are made by zipp. If you have any questions please feel free to ask in the comments below. This is a great adventure, touring and fast gravel bike. It has very similar geometry to the domane but the stack is a bit higher. It is true what they say, titanium is the miracle metal as far as bikes are concerned.

When I saw the title I thought, nah, the guy is just going to put all the factory parts together and call it a “custom built”. But it’s a work of art indeed! Awesome 👏 👍 !

those decals and painted fork came out really nice!

Anodizing would be waaaaaaaay easier 😀 A bunch of 9v batteries some water baking soda and alligator clips. Heating titanium is not recommended because it can become brittle. Love the fork!

Buddy, sweet build and great homage to the world of Trek! Very jealous of the airbrush, absolutely beats using spray bombs. Your video & audio editing has come along way too, keep the channel going strong man. - AL @ Hilltop -

Lovely build.. how you finding the Ekar group set ? I was going to pick up a group set but kept reading of issues so cancelled the order... I run chorus on 2 of my road bikes and ultegra on my gravel bike at the moment.. cheers Pete

Actually you can ask Lynskey to not addin the sticker on the frame, only the bare frame.

Where did you buy all your Campagnolo parts from? Would you recommend them? Getting Campagnolo parts in Australia is challenging.
