Vivienne Medrano's 4th year animated Thesis film, done at SVA!
ENJOY!
This story follows the bubbly, Timber. As she uses music to unify the denizens of a woodsy owl critter world, segregated by the number of eyes they possess!

Animated in TV paint

Created at SVA 2013-2014

I would LOVE to see a 10 years later re-animation of this short film to see her progress side-by-side. This is still by FAR one of my absolute FAVORITE Vivzie Vids!!!

  • Everyone talks about only hazbin hotel and helluva boss, but hardly anyone remembers the existence of this incredible min film. 9 years, one of the best animations on youtube of ever.

The Timber song reference from Kesha around 1:41 and then Having Kesha as the voice actress for Queen Bee made me go back to this magnificent animation! Im proud of you guys and Vivienne!!! 💗

I remember wishing for this to get it's own series, years ago. I still do.

It reminds me of the old Silly Symphonies cartoons. No words needed. Just art, expression, and music. A lot of Walt Disney's early animation experimentation was showcased in those kinda shorts. I love the style Vivian has created for herself. It really brings back the beauty and fundamentals of the art. Not to mention, I see so much of her future endeavors peek through here.
