A piece of trivia about the house they lived in is that the ballroom ceiling was made by Tiffany and was worth a small fortune. Selling it would have solved their financial problems. Such a disturbing story.

Unfortunately, this guy isn’t the first to kill his entire family and he won’t be the last. It’s absolutely horrible. Psychopaths come in all walks of life, being a Christian unfortunately doesn’t mean that they can’t be a psycho!!!

I am from NJ and remember the story. My cousin lived in Westfield and went to school with his daughter. What a tragedy. The house was knocked down.

Despite its campy acting and no shortage of bombed reviews, I really enjoyed this movie. Of course being stuck at work any movie is preferable to doing actual work. R

There was no need to embellish this story with extra murders that never happened. The real John List was quite creepy enough.

Anybody notice at scene 100:16 the magnetic letters on the fridge spell "Killa Rob...?" (Robert Clark. The name List went by after he murdered his family in NJ) Also, the movie is a lot different from what really happened. John List was not defeated by a daughter, her dad and her boyfriend. He was at work and 2 FBI agents tracked him down. If you watch the show Forensic Files, they'll explain the real story more in depth.

Wish this movie would’ve been more accurate. From the places where each person was murdered to the house itself not being as pretty. They lived in a mini mansion. And I can’t believe a real estate agent wouldn’t have pointed out the Tiffany ceiling as a selling point when they purchased the house!

Adding the supposed murder of his second wife, and the attack on the supposed family that recognized him really cheapened the true account of what happened to his original family. He did NOT bash his second wife's head in (as depicted), and he did not have a murderous melee with the family that supposedly discovered his identity. He was found at his place of work. Such BS only cheapens the real tragedy of the original deaths!

It’s so strange the girl was watching this killer using binoculars. There is just several foot from her home. There is no need to use binoculars. And people’s faces don’t change much after 18 years. The killer look the same before and after 18 years. Same haircut, same suit, same body structure

I have a ghost cat. Charlie died during Covid and no vet would even take emergency calls. I felt him jump on my bed and cuddle for months! I have since moved, but i.swear his spirit is still w me! I am gonna get some wind chimes for outside. I was told that when the chime finally breaks, your baby knows you love and miss them, but you need to get a new pet to share your love.

Police said if John looked up above the dining room the Tiffany skylight would've gotten them from out of debt.

Hollywood always embellishing what really happens in true crime movies...knowing what happened then trying to watch this...can't finish the movie.

5 minutes in, I’m already pissed. Why not make it factually accurate? The older son fought him off and that’s why he was shot multiple times, AFTER this creep drove them home from his soccer game.
