Thanks you are a Great Person and Great Daughter!!!!!!!.
  • He was my mentor in every lyric I've ever written (and what I've written about). Thanks Gia, for sharing his tribute with us. 💜
  • I had to share this on Facebook for those who wonder why I started doing poetry/spoken word, and who inspired me to do it!

Powerful & stirring,; a poet-warrior from before & beyond our lifetimes. Yet, greater than every heart-felt lyric in his music 🎶💘 and every positive message in his writings & interviews💌 GSH's most awesome contribution to humankind is You (GSH 2.0). Gia, you are thee most patient person I know 🤯 Your capacity to love & be 💞 loved is incomprehensible to many of the great thinkers who ponder such things. Plus, the skills you possess that allow you to communicate the spoken🎤 and written✏ word to the high degree of eloquence in which your poetry is respectfully known for, have no doubt earned an honorable position in ny heart. Thank you #GilScottHeron (GSH) Abundant blessings #GiaScottHeron (GSH 2.0) Keep on keepi
  • Hello Gia Scott-Heron and Merry Christmas and a happy New 2023 to You ! In the year of 1991 I had to travel 400 miles by car to see and hear Your father play. It was a concert at the Stockholm Jazz Festival in Sweden. Three Miles Down was the opening number. The best version I´ve heard still. He had a black lady playing the acoustic grand piano. Robert Gordon on the bass and Larry McDonald on percussion. I had a VHS camera with me an filmed the bigger part of his performance. I have never wanted to publish it or in any other way tried to make money on it. It belongs to me and You Gia. I`m not in any internet social media like instagram facebook or twitter. I was 33 years-old in 1991 so if it`s going to be ever published it`s going to be by You and me Gia ! Regards and respect from this 64 Year-old white man.
