sorry for the radio silence, i've been down with the flu! hope you all enjoy this sweet comic dub i did! comic is done by @triona-tribblestone, please show them some love and support!

i do like that this comic almost humanizes Vox, the idea that Val abuses him as well. Obviously if he thinks that its angels fault then he'd get mad, and in no way do i think thats okay or that Vox is a good person, but i do think that interactiom makes him feel more real. like in a weird way (if this were canon) he and angel would have a common enemy

I can already hear "I am thou, thou art I" and starts his new rebellion against Valentino, becomes free of the contract, and leaves Val forever leaving him on the brink of death.

I like how he was concerned about Vox

I really enjoy how this comic shows two sides of Val's abusive relationships. Angel has had enough, and is finally escaping into a freedom he never thought he could have before. Sure, he's still under contract, but he is no longer a mental or emotional slave to Valentino. Vox, on the other hand... He is powerful, rich, well-respected, and STILL the victim of abuse. His issue with Angel goes far beyond reputation. While he wouldn't admit it out loud, he is also trapped. If Angel stands up to Valentino, upsets the status quo, then Vox takes the brunt of it. It's the real reason he confronts him. And it's why he says he's selfish for desiring more. It's sad. I hope both Angel and Vox escape Valentino's clutches if this comic continues. And I hope to hear more wonderful VAs from you!

Angel honestly has a heart, he saw the crack on Vox and sounded concerned..

"you can beat the hell out of me, call me a whore, say i am worthless, but only under your roof... but outside in this hotel, i am free"

Can’t wait to see how the inevitable showdown between the Hotel and the Vees will play out, especially with Angel finally finding his self respect. And great dub BTW. 😊

I remember in the show he almost seemed either amused/surprised/happy when he asked if Angel had quit. I'm not saying Vox is a good person, but even he can see that Val has an obsession with Angel that goes above and beyond the norm of he normally acts to begin with. Valentino is more pissed that Angel is actually dating someone rather than his image getting ruined. Vox knows that, he's the one who cares about image. The problem is, even he knows he can find a reasonable solution for everyone in this type of situation, and knows for a fact Angel was right about the terms of his contract. Vox only knows to just lash out or lash back, rather then be "reasonable". I definitely wouldn't be surprised if Vox had a love/hate relationship with Val at this point. I mean he immediately dreads even wanting to talk to the assh*le when he's "in his mood again", for obvious reasons. Makes me curious on where Viv plans to take Vox in the future

The more I am selfish, the more I’m free. Damn it cut so deep. Selfishness is the sweet of all sin but my thing is why it not the 8 sin above all sin? It higher then pride. Amazing quote and it cut so deep. This hit me deep. I don’t know what to feel anymore about the concept of selfishness anymore.

Vox is one to talk! He's the one being self centered! He's complaining to Angel about his OWN image, not Angel's! Angel's out there living his life with his friends. This isn't about himself, this is about him living the best life he can and spending time with the people he actually likes and loves. Vox, Velvette, and Val only care about their reputation, money, and and image. Angel literally doesn't care how people view him so long as he's not hurting anyone who doesn't deserve it. Especially Charlie and the rest of the friends at the hotel.

genuinely took me a second to remember this isn't a sketch from the show, this would totally happen

I love how Vox has these certain annunciation of words that kind of make it sound like he has an accent, it makes me think his speech patterns before (when he was friends with Alastor) still stuck around, whether that’s intentional or not, wonderful job as always!!!
