I'm from the Caribbean and trust me when I say I'm jealous. From the weather to the landscapes, it's very beautiful. Very nice place for international students.🍻👍

4:32 I'm sorry, but I respectfully disagree. The wages in Vancouver are SUPER low in contrast to how expensive it is to live here. Unless you're making over $100K a year, you're gonna struggle living here. If you make a lot of money, then Vancouver's great.

I just want to say a big thank you. You described the city's advantages truthfully, and you are right, Vancouver is not a boring city. Greetings from Guatemala. Thumb up 👍
  • Ah. Real estate agent. Explains why. What you should consider instead is: abysmally low wages against cost of living, ridiculous healthcare situation(recently my surgery waiting time exceeded 3.5 yrs, i’m still alive, but barely making it), appallingly expensive and scarcely available housing options, teeth grinding traffic(try morning, afternoon crossings over second narrows or basically anywhere around hw1 choke points) and, of course, addicts, psychopaths and weirdos of hastings(sure, you can turn a blind to, but you taxes will still fund those “programs”). So, unless your family makes 300k at least, think twice.

Thinking about moving over to Vancouver from the UK. I’m 26 right now and in the next few years I would want to make a decision. These videos are a real help!

You listed more than 10 reasons in your video, it really tells you a lot about this amazing city. Thanks

I think relative to housing cost vancouver pays very low. We should increase minimum to 30 cad per hr. And starting salary full time for entry should be 70k, 5 years experience 100k and so on to match living cost. 100k in vancouver gets you low middle life quality
  • Thanks for the video Sebastian. I've done well in Ontario, but I'm done and ready to move. I need a change of location and Vancouver's perfect. We had some issues to deal with the last two weeks so we've been detached from doing our Vancouver research. We are back watching your weekly vids and checking out properties. And it just a month we will be in Vancouver.  The biggest draws to Vancouver for us is the air quality. We didn't notice the air quality difference as much, but we noticed the complete lack of stuffy noises while there. The temps are much better. It's the end of April, and it's cold and showing... yep... daffodils and tulips aren't even up yet. The ocean, the mountains, the beauty of the place. You said it right, a sunny moment after a rainy morning is powerful. The laid back attitude. Its perfect. The main worries are the crime. It has gotten out of control here and in Vancouver. I don't want to have to worry about things. :(

Hey there! Love the cinematography of your videos! Shows the time and effort you take to show the city to your viewers. I just moved recently to Vancouver and I am mesmerized by it beatify! I am exited to experience the summer. Do you have an videos where you talk more in depth about the city during each season? I am curious to see how the city looks over the fall as I may have some friends visiting here. Thank you again for your amazing videos and for sharing your experience with this city.

After researching a lot about cities in Canada, my family and I decided to live in Vancouver. Your videos helped us a lot in making this decision, so we're arriving in August!
  • Thank you for your videos! I am from Southern California and OBSESSED with Vancouver, trying to figure out how to move there. I stayed for 5 weeks in September 2021 and 2 weeks in September 2023. I am coming back the first week of November this year. Are you able to climb Grouse Mountain in early November? Thank you again for all your helpful videos!

Another masterpiece creation by Sebastian!! Very informative as usual. More I watch your videos, more I fall in love with Vancouver. My only concerns remains; whether I will be able to afford to live there being a Construction Project Manager as a single earning member of a family of fours?? What's your opinion about scope of Infrastructure construction in and around Vancouver. May be I should settle in one of the suburbs like Burnaby OR Surrey to enjoy the best of both worlds!!
  • @alexshetsen7552
West end. If you cab afford it. Probably as a good a place to live as anywhere literally in the world.
  • @MTN99999

  • @johnnyboyvan
I was dt today and it was full of druggies. Scary 😨
  • @mrsnegrich
Bring all your money if you have a lot of it saved or invested because it`s gonna cost you a mint to live there. And you don`t have to look for the homeless people, you`ll find them without trying. and people who have been kicked out of their apartment buildings for whatever reasons like renovictions and these poor people cannot find any affordable housing. What are they to do, oops i said these poor people, but many of them aren`t poor, they have jobs but their jobs salaries didn`t go up by 30% like the rents have in the last few years. So, come on over if you have lots of money. You`ll enjoy everything mentioned in the video.
