This entire scene made me think that Chris Hemsworth is suited to play as Captain Price in the Modern Warfare universe.

That one shot take was very impressive...Chris Hemsworth needs more movies like this

This movie may have the most exemplary action scenes in recent memory. Cover is taken, Bullet counts matter, body armor does something and the choreography is still sublimely coordinated. The points being hit are roughly similar to John Wick but far more chaotic - very fitting for a combat scenario.
-
1:34 I love the detail of the officer grabbing the pistol slide, causing an incomplete feed. After realizing that the gun hasn't been fully cycled, he clears the weapon with 1 hand. Very impressive choreography
-
That reload off the belt was smooth asf I loved this movie
-
I like how combat in films is slowly getting more and more realistic.
-
This is so anti-Hollywood I love it. A long take with no snap cuts, nothing superhuman, or infinite ammo that ignores body armor, and no background music. Kept me on my toes the whole way through.
-
The pistol being held by the hand when fired and not cycling the slide, and then clearing the malfunction by racking the slide on his plate carrier is one of the best movie moments ive seen. There are very very few movies that understand guns, and to see a real possible malfunction and then clearing the malfunction is an incredible moment

When I first watched this, this scene felt 10x longer cuz i was just waiting for a cut, but it never came. Awesome camerawork and editing
-
A follower of John Wick's style of fighting Gunfu.
-
What i love is how you don't hear any music playing in the background like a lot of other active films. This creates much more of a suspenseful and realistic experience for the viewer.
-
1:28, its so refreshing to see body armor working
-
Finally netflix has created their own John Wick
-
The only movie that body armour works for the enemy. Edit: I don't count John Wick in because the armour in the movie is unrealistic.
-
Can't wait for the next Extraction with Hemsworth man. Hopefully Netflix keeps this series good, with it being one of the few that is genuinely good
-
Oh, THAT kind of "one-shot". I'm like "How is this called 'one-shot' when he empties like three magazines?"
-
This movie took inspiration and notes from John Wick and honestly improved on the formula in my opinion. Also Chris Hemsworth needs more action movies
-
Is that weird that Chris Hemsworth's grunting just sounds so badass and manly in like every way possible? 😂
-
I don’t care what people or critics say, this movie is and still fucking amazing. Chris Hemsworth is badass af in this film.

This works so well for a lot of reasons, but one of my favorites being that he's basing his moment to moment strategy around wherever the kid is. Simple objective: Protect the kid. Simple storytelling that boosts the oner into being excellent.
