Ahhhh just finished the last Olympian and it was so gooooooood!! (I guess it wasn’t as good as it would’ve been if I didn’t know all the spoilers)

Riordan is really good at making a main character that is not powerful I feel. Like in theory they are but from what I have heard of the Percy Jackson series and what I have read of the Magnus Chase series, neither one is that powerful. But the things they do and the powers around them and what they represent are. And this the characters are given power, even if it isn't something they may actually be able to use (yes I know Magnus can heal and heat things up and do some cool things, but he gets tired quickly)
