I DISCUSS WHY SIMONE BILES PARIS 2024 OLYMPICS HISTORIC, YURCHENKO DOUBLE PIKE VAULT & WHY OTHER OLYMPIC GYMNASTS WON'T TRY IT (IN SLO-MO), AS SHE WINS 9TH US TITLE! COMMENTARY FROM DOCTOR'S AND EXPERTS ON GYMNASTICS! It's THE MOST DIFFICULT VAULT IN GYMNASTICS, as she performs it at the WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS in Japan. It has a start value of 6.6, the highest of any vault. Biles said she was HAPPY WITH HER PERFORMANCE and that she wanted to do the vault for herself and for the CHALLENGE. She also said SHE HOPES TO INSPIRE other gymnasts to try new skills and push the boundaries of the sport. The Yurchenko double pike vault is a skill that involves a round-off onto the springboard, a back handspring onto the vaulting table, and a double pike somersault in the air before landing. Biles is the first woman to perform the vault in international competition and the first to land it successfully. She did it in the qualifying round on October 1, 2023. Biles scored 15.766 for the vault, which was the highest score of any event in the qualifying round. The fact the half of America tried to put her through the ringer for putting her mental health (and physical health) first, only a year ago! Now they see how serious this was…people who have never attempted, and could NEVER execute the moves Simone does in this sport, could never understand. Our entertainment could cost her life if she’s not in the right mind frame! I’m so glad she listened to herself, and now she back to smashing records past retirement age for most professionals at her level!!!

She's a legend already. She doesn't have to do any more dangerous moves. I can think of a couple gymnasts who can no longer walk from one wrong landing. Hope she stays safe.

I am very happy for her.While growing up she was victimized because of her skin color. Now she deserves all of her accomplishments.
