The fact that Ruby sat down to groom herself, while maybe 5 ft from Patrick is really something. Totally lets down her defenses because she feels completely safe. Amazing.

If only that porch rail were a few inches wider, I think Ruby would have perched there for the afternoon. Her mood is much improved today - including the up close check in with you for no hard feelings!
