This song got me through treatment for cancer. I'd listen to the CD while the chemo dripped into my veins, but Walk On kept me going. I skipped a treatment to see them in Nov 2001 for the 6th time. Anyone who saw that tour after September, well, you had to be there.

When I was 5 one of my teachers at school played this song for my class, I was so mindblown that as soon as I got home I asked my dad if he'd ever heard the song. He sat me down and introduced me to one of the best bands ever.

Love this song. Came out around the time my dad passed (actually Bono's dad passed not long before mine) and I can't hear it without thinking of him and that time. The lyrics seemed so fitting: "You're packing a suitcase for a place none of us has been; a place that has to be believed to be seen." Walk on, Dad. ❤

I first listened to this song when I bought the U2 album All that You Cant Leave Behind back in 2002 while traveling through New Zealand and Australia. This was the song in the album that hit me the most, and each time I listen to it brings back amazing memories. U2 was and is still my favourite band to this day.
