  • 10 years and it’s still as raw as if it happened yesterday. But I take solace in the knowledge that those geckos are in heaven now, fucking angels.

ITT Tech was barred from using government loans two years after this episode. They immediately shut down and filed for bankruptcy.
  • and finally the "Libyan Pool Party" joke in the Student Loans segment makes sense

Thank you John and A Great Big World for that touching memorial.
  • Wasn’t sure how old this was until I heard “ice bucket challenge”
  • I love how we're all just vibing watching the old episodes and realizing the world has been facked for awhile now
  • As a current college sophomore who's been watching LWT since middle school, the "go enjoy yourselves" segment is more real than ever.
  • Most ironically, youtube gives me an ad for a for profit school twice: before i started this episode and before the last segment. I have a masters degree, gtfoh for profit school ads 😂
  • Reposting this reminded me of ITT Tech; I forgot it closed in 2016
  • @Kira_Mine
Love that we might actually be getting that Movie soon. It only took ten years 😂
  • I love that John has pipes and a good ear, and he’s used them both from the beginning.
  • John Oliver, I'm so glad you came to the United States. You are a national treasure.
