Embeddium is a fork of Sodium so if you are using Sodium don't use Embeddium. The only reason to use Embeddium is if you are on NeoForge(Soon not necessary, Sodium is going to get official NeoForge support) or Forge.

Ballsackium should honestly be a mod ngl
-
You missed the key feature of Complementary Shaders 5.2.1 that's only active in Very High Preset. "Advanced Colored Lighting. Using the power of Iris, we can finally have a colored lighting implementation in Minecraft shaders without getting the critical flaws seen in most others." Basically creates colored lights like redstone torches, regular torches, and soul torches to emit different colored light. But a great video afterall..

If you want a more mild biome mod that's closer to vanilla, check this one out: modrinth.com/datapack/geophilic/gallery

crying in bedrock edition

finally someone who goes through their shader settings. im always messing around with mine but cant ever get it looking the way youtube videos do
-
Not sure why you're listing Embeddium on this mod list, because of the following. 1) There is no Fabric release of Embeddium for Minecraft 1.21 2) It's incompatible with two of the other mods you list, Sodium and Indium

what a burning performance

~~~ ALTERNATIVE SETTINGS for Water and Atmosphere ~~~ For anyone who wants their water CLEARER instead of foggier, with a blue surface color and green underwater color, I recommend the following water settings: Water Opacity: 50 Water Surface Color (Cyan/Sapphire) - Red: 75 - Green: 150 - Blue: 130 (Cyan coloration) or 200 (Sapphire coloration) Underwater Color (Green Tinge) - Red: 150 - Green: 150 - Blue: 100 NOTE: The color settings are based on a lukewarm ocean biome! Not all of the water biomes will look cyan/sapphire or have a green tinge when submerged! Also, if youâre looking for a sky thatâs slightly more of a true blue color, Iâd recommend adjusting the atmosphere color multiplier to this: Noon Time (True Blue) - Red: 0.75 - Green: 0.75 - Blue: 1.50
You really should try Euphoria Patches addon for Complementary Shaders which adds so many great features and extra settings such as water progressive texture, lava edge and way more cool visual upgrades It can just look awesome and make Complementary even better than it already is
2:01 instructions unclear my pc went to the moon
Only thing I can't seem to find is that effect at 8:45 where you can almost see the mountains in the distance but not too much, in my case I can clearly see where the world isn't loading which ruins the immersion a lot
