Thank you so much for this reminder. I just took up a hugeee job for school after a year where my skin basically melted off my face from stress. It was so bad it looked like I had vitiligo. After a few months of rest, my skin finally cleared up. Stress related skin problems are no joke and I'm really glad more people are addressing the detriment pressure like that can have on our quality of living. I really hope more people can see this, because our bodies shouldn't be a compromise to our hustle. 💛

Thank you for making me pause the video to look up "deleterious".
  • In the cpa world, in public accounting I have seen teammates pass out and have seizures. It was always during peak busy season. Health is so important!

Please consider an audio version of your book! I wouldn't mind paying more for it. Many a time I pass on books because I can't find it on Audible and I wouldn't be surprised if other people did the same. I love your channel!
  • Got diagnosed with cancer right after i left the firm. Of course the firm didnt cause my cancer but all the symptoms appeared during my last months there. I thought these were all just because of stress so I put off going to the doctor. Turns out it was something more 🤷🏻‍♀️
  • @janessaep
I'm sure you'd find similar impacts in IB too!

Stressful jobs overall... Nowadays I keep myself hydrated, drink as much dihydrogen monoxide as I need to and little else, eat as clean as I can and workout regularly. A combo of strength and cardio followed by stretching and flexibility. And yoga/pilates on a recovery day. EDIT: And I give the finger to clients that give me too much shit. Looking forward to your book Cece😁👍
