1:15 I remember seeing these ants in an animal encyclopaedia I had when I was younger. If I remember correctly, these are called honeypot ants. I found the book! Honeypot ants live in the desert. Some worker ants are chosen to be filled with nectar which they turn into honey. They store it in them until food is short so they can vomit it up and feed the colony.

1:00, That bird is called a Cassowary. They're actually one of the most dangerous birds in the world. When Cassowaries get provoked, they jump and stab the offending animal or human with their razor-sharp talons on their feet. Some scientists believe that they might be the descendants of Velociraptors.
  • @TALINLUNE2000
The bird you called terrifying is a Cassowary I believe. Fun fact: in 2016 a Cassowary attacked a tourist for stepping near its nest, multiple organs were ripped out.
  • @shadowmisfire
fun fact- it's actually (surprisingly) illegal to collect glass from the glass beach
  • I’ve been to that glass beach and it’s not nearly that nice. It’s mostly blue hues, greens and browns. This happens because back in the day they would dump trash here and as a result the bottles get broken by the shore and tide. It would lose its sharpness from constantly tumbling back and forth. There really isn’t much glass there, people would take them home as they come.
