Just something else to add, in vol 1, when the tape instructs you how to handle alternates, it tells you to block all entrances (which can be EXITS) and to keep a firearm with you…. Just remember what happened when Mark was left with a firearm and no exits…

So Alex Kister (the creator of mandela catalogue) just publicly stated in an interview with Wendigoon that this theory is not correct, but was funny.

I think the name O’brian could also have some symbolism to the book 1984, Obrian being a character which Winston thought would lead the society to safety but actually betrays them, tortured them. This society is also like the opposite extreme to the Mandela catalogue, making everyone have a ‘telescreen’ in every room to keep watch on them.. idk it’s just some interesting links

Another huge reason 911 operators are possibly forbidden to help with alternates is because they don't know if the person calling is a real person in danger or an alternate itself. Such a facinating series!!

I feel like there are multiple intruders with different levels of hostility, mark heathcliff's encounter went smoothly with no one harmed this implies that the first intruder is a burglar alternate, the second one being the kidnapper, and the third one could be the most hostile
