Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury has a bunch of hidden things still within that I haven't seen a whole lot of people talk about. And in today's video, we're covering one of those bizarre things. 3 absurd 1-ups that have been hidden for years. Let's go on another extra life quest, shall we?

Play Skyforge on Nintendo Switch! ► wehy.pe/t/306/wehypeit A huge thanks to Skyforge for sponsoring this video!

I think that’s where the miiverse post was! There was a post that asked “can you guys guess where this picture was taken” and I couldn’t figure it out past what stage it was. This is mind blowing
-
These should be easier on the switch version because the cat power up has been given a buff so you can climb for longer.
-
I really wanted to see the satisfaction of him touching the 1-ups He deserves those
-
I've known about these for awhile from just exploring with Rosalina's easy infinite wall jump. Couldn't believe they were there lmao
-
Thank you! I got up there many years ago but I completely forgot how. A couple years ago I tried again; thinking that I remembered a warp pipe was up there, guess it was 1-UPs; but I couldn’t find a way to get up there. I ended up almost completely doubting I ever did it and that it was even possible without having to use glitches. I totally believe that me and my brother would have gone into 2 player mode in order to get up there.
-
3:42 "there's no documentation for these 1-UPs anywhere". Actually Mankalor documented them in a video. Though to be fair, the video is called "Super Mario 3D World - Small details you may not have noticed", so it's not obvious that it would include these 1-UPs (plus it's not like you could have watched every video on this game that exists). Still, good video.

Imagine being a collector's edition that doesn't scam the players
-
Sees three 1-ups in sand It continues..
-
Looking forward to playing this again on the switch!
-
I swear I remember seeing a video years ago that showed how to get these 1-ups. It used Luigi and Rosalina. Anyone else?
-
I know another way to get the 1-ups, just quickly rotate the left stick in a circle (multiple times) so your character spins, then jump. It'll make you jump really high before you hit the wall to climb with the cat suit.

This video actually jogged up a forgotten memory of mine. When i was younger I believe my cousin and I actually found that, but didn't think anything important out of it. Thanks for the old memories man lol

5:19 If you grab the eight red coins on the level, it rewards you by collecting all eight with a cat bell.
-
I have actually collected those 1ups. I don't remember how. I think that it was me and 2 friends. Players jumping one above the other.
-
When I was younger I would spend hours trying to climb up walls on random levels just to find secrets, I’m so happy these were here!
-
For those wondering, this was likely the developers putting 1-ups where they think it's obtainable and hidden, only for the collision programmers to make it impossible due to steep ramp collision. It's also possible that the map was changed before it was finalized, but because the 1-ups are so out of the way they didn't notice them before release.
-
When you upload it feels like I'm getting a gift. Like a lil loot box.
-
So you’re telling me those 1ups that me and my brother got were unseen for years
